5632 Green Oak Drive

Introducing a special and unique property located in the Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles. Designed by architect Alfred Gilman, associate and colleague of legendary Frank Lloyd Wright, this property is ready for a major restoration (or a possible rebuild due to condition) and offers an opportunity to transform and/or reimagine an iconic Mid-Century Post and Beam home. Nestled on a generous lot with an oversized driveway, notable features of this split-level 3 bedroom, 2 bath home include the extensive use of wood including flooring, open beam ceilings, wall panels, built-in cabinetry, oversized storage spaces and bookcases. In addition, there are floor to ceiling windows throughout, creating a spacious light-filled interior typical of the modernist style. The formal dining room has a two-story ceiling and opens directly to the large back patio and garden area. Located up a short flight of stairs is the living room, which overlooks the dining room and features a brick fireplace. The primary suite and full bath are located just down the short hallway from the living room. On the lower level of the home is the expansive family room with a stone fireplace, as well as with two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. The backyard offers great privacy with a large patio area and extensive gardens with lush landscaping and charming views of the surrounding hillside. A large two car detached garage completes this incredible property. Please note that due to condition of the home and present foundation issues, conventional financing may be an issue, so the sale will most likely need to be a cash or hard-money loan. The home is being sold in as-is condition with no warranties or repairs. This home is located within close proximity to Griffith Park, Los Feliz, Hollywood and many other wonderful neighborhoods and attractions. Don't miss this rare opportunity!
